Lament of a Dying SamuraiI will always remember the first day we met. You, the young daughter of a Master Samurai, and me, an apprentice to your father. You were shy that first meeting, I remember that. From me, you hid your face in a fan decorated in cherry blossoms and wouldn’t meet my eye when I feasted on your beauty. That day, you were wearing a purple kimono embroidered with white flowers and light green leaves.

I didn’t see you again for many moons and the next time we spoke, the snow had already begun to fall. I can remember you standing next to me, shivering in that light kimono of yours and your full red lips turning a shade of blue. The snow dLament of a Dying Samurai by ~Rainyyuu
Suicide CircusI knew the hooded figure was watching me, even if I couldn’t see his face from the shadow of the cowl. His cloak hid his true body from me, only his white gloved hands visible. The material of the cloth seemed to be velvet as it shone and danced under the paleness of the moon. He was shorter than me maybe by only a little bit, that I could see even from our distance, yet still made me shiver as he stood there, silent, just watching.

“I don’t think I should be here,” I mumbled under his invisible yet watchful gaze. He made no motion or acknowledgement of my words, just stood in front of the great golden doors that had Suicide Circus by ~Rainyyuu
